Yerrabi Visiting Voters 15 May

What is visiting voters?

Visiting voters is when a team of Greens volunteers go out in their neighbourhood to speak to voters on their doorstep and listen to what is important to them. It’s a great way to connect with voters and to hear what issues people care about.

If you're new to visiting voters, you are very welcome! Every session starts with a briefing and training, and you’ll be provided with a script and other resources. You have the option of going visiting with another volunteer, and at the end there is a team debrief to get your feedback.

Before you go visiting voters, we encourage you to attend our Campaign Skills 101 trainings. This training is a workshop on the value of face-to-face conversations, learning how you can start talking with voters at events like this.

Join us for the first visiting voters session for Yerrabi since the Federal election has been called!

Visiting voters is a lot less scary than it sounds and you can be paired up with a buddy if you feel more comfortable.

We will be starting out at Margaret and Rowan's place where you will be fully briefed on how to go forth and engage with the local voters and have the all important meaningful conversations that will help us to win votes.

Crace is a new suburb so we'll be having an awesome time talking with voters about issues that matter to them. Be prepared for some really great conversations!

Team Yerrabi are a lovely bunch of people from all walks of life and we would love for you to join us for an afternoon of training, walking, talking and listening to voters. So RSVP now!
