Join us as for some delightful Doorknocking across the suburb of O'Connor. We will be chatting to voters to encourage them to update their enrolment details. Enrolling to vote is a simple and easy way to ensure that their vote can be counted. The ACT Greens have always been committed to marriage equality, and whilst the Greens will be fighting this harmful and costly plebiscite every step of the way, if it does go ahead, we would like to make sure everyone who wants to vote to support marriage equality is able to do so.
We will be meeting at 1:30pm on Saturday 19 August outside O'Connor Shops (just look for the Greens sign!) where you will receive a quick training in how to chat to voters about their enrolment details. If you'd like, you can be paired with another volunteer whilst you build confidence talking to voters. This event is being organised by the ACT Young Greens, as part of a national Young Greens day of action, however it is open to everyone, regardless of your age or Doorknocking experience. Everyone is welcome, and we would love to have you.
